What ear preference, handedness and hemispheric asymmetry reveal about personality.

A smaller but distinctive line of research asks whether the two sides of the brain play different roles in approach and avoidance. Studies of ear preference, handedness, digit ratio and tympanic membrane temperature suggest that hemispheric preference interacts with personality to predict disinhibition, emotion and performance.
